The Spears 1413-012 is a 90-degree right angle insert elbow designed to connect two sections of piping. It is 1-1/4 in diameter with barbed x male pipe threaded connection. This barbed fitting is best used in irrigation applications for hose hook-up, securing the fitting for a secure connection. Since the water pressure can push the tube off the fitting, hose clamps should be used for installation.
