Phenix Black Diamond East Coast Casting Rods brings technology from the West Coast to the eastern part of the US. Constructed of Toray T-40 NanoTube carbon fiber blended with Phenix proprietary Nanolite Resins, the Black Diamond is lightweight and extremely powerful! They have outfitted these rods with Premium Essex T-Ring Carbide Guides with FrameLok Technology, a long comfortable contoured EVA fore grip, aluminum reel seat and carbon fiber rear grip.
A new generation of saltwater blanks has been born. Constructed with Toray’s high strength Carbon Fibers, the Black Diamond uses a unique layering process and a “secret sauce” resin. This combination of aerospace technology has allowed us to give birth to a new age in blank technology. The Black Diamond series has a thinner diameter and a lower weight, allowing it to be the lightest rod in its class.
