The SeaStar Power Assist unit virtually eliminates all steering loads on the wheel and reduces steering effort in heavy or high torque applications to reduce driver fatigue and discomfort, just like in a car. It can be installed on new SeaStar installations or as an easy retrofit to existing systems by using an electronically controlled hydraulic pump to provide on-demand power steering.
