Safety chains connect the trailer to the hitch receiver and provide a backup in case the coupler detaches from the ball. With this 5/8” shackle, you can attach your safety chains to the channel on any BulletProof Hitch. This allows you to get the correct safety chain length without the need for chain extenders.
