CDC Oiler Puffs CDC CDC (Cul-de-Canard or duck-butt in English) is naturally impregnated with hydrophobic oils to aid in floatation. In addition, the barbicells and micro-barbicells increase surface area and trap air bubbles. There are endless uses such as winging dries, nymph gills, emerging wing buds, soft hackles, etc. These packages contain about 35-45 useable plumes per package. CDC Oiler puffs are smaller and more dense than the standard plumes.

Cul de Canard Feathers also referred to as CDC Feathers are one of the greatest natural fly tying materials available. The unique structure of the feather makes them extremely buoyant. The movement of the individual fibers is lifelike and draws the attention of trout.
