The Notch 1/2in Rigging Block is a small sized lightweight arborist block that accepts working lines up to 1/2in 13mm diameter. Hot forged aluminum side plates with rope friendly rounded cheeks. Precision CNC machined aluminum sheaves with wide bend radii. Stainless steel axle. Low profile, secure, easy to-open captive screw pin lock. High wall, full diameter, improved anchor sling protection. Wide, concave upper sheave accepts 5/8in anchor slings.

The new low-profile Springlock mechanism features a new Safelock locking button to offer further security and ease of use. Simply push the Safelock button and turn the axle head 180° to the release position. The Safelock button can be depressed, and the pin head rotated in a continuous one-handed action. When the device is in the open position, the locking pin on the axle is retained in the correct alignment.

The ISC small arborist block is a great tree rigging block for professional use. The block is secured with a spring-lock. To open, the user simply pushes the pin in, twists, and the side plates may be swung open. The upper bushing and pin are retained, so they can't fall out during use. The block accepts rigging ropes of up to 1/2 diameter, and tree rigging slings up to 3/4. The load rating on the block is 22,480 lb MBS (106 kN), with a WLL of 4,400 lb at a 5:1 design factor.
