The Race Face Atlas Pedals work off the template for a solid gravity-oriented platform while adding some great RF design improvements. They start with a strong wide chromoly spindle. They install four cartridge bearings around the spindle to make sure it turns smoothly no matter what. They build on top of the bearings a 101 by 114mm 6061-T6 aluminum alloy platform that is concave on both sides. It has 12mm stack height around the spindle and rises to 14.5mm at the ends.
