No matter the time of year, the CDC pheasant tail is one of our favorite patterns to fish as a point fly on a nymph rig or a dropper beneath a dry fly. The CDC collar adds irresistible, lifelike movement to an already deadly classic pattern, making it an effective choice for searching when no obvious hatches are present, or when fishing new water. This is a Yakoda-exclusive fly that's not available anywhere else. Includes (3) flies.

The Green Machine is one of those flies that's in our rotation year-round. When wet, the sparse green CDC feather lays down on top of the flashback, imitating the gas bubbles trapped by emerging insect pupae. This fly is a top performer regardless of the season or the insects present in the water, which means it's a great searching pattern when fishing new water.
